How to Build a Cardboard Subwoofer Box at Home

How to Build a Cardboard Ported Bass Reflex Subwoofer Speaker Box at Home. This method provides an easy way to make an enclosure for any speaker or subwoofer driver. For this project, I used a 15-inch Jamo THX-class subwoofer. While a proper polywood box is not yet made, I decided to test the theory whether a subwoofer sounds better without or with a Cardboard Subwoofer Box. To make a Subwoofer Box Using Cardboard, you'll need several Cardboard packing boxes. A fine saw, pva glue, paper knife, leveler and a few screws will also come in handy. or the box itself I will use this samsung microwave oven packing box, it is very thick and a good base for the whole project. Then it's just a case of making the box yourself. Thicker pieces of cardboard are also useful as support ribs.
