We drown at Jansens 4x4 just outside Heidelberg Gauteng. It’s a private 4x4 trail that is guided by Johan Havenga and his team. Jurg leads our convoy today through this rocky trail. It’s a technical route consisting of a mountain trail, a donga play area lots of sand and water. Our Convoy consists of plenty of Toyota’s of which for the first time a front and rear locked 80 Series, Jeep Rubicon and a Land Rover Discovery V8. There is plenty of space to go off course which we then do.
