Living OFF the Grid In the Philippines | Foreigners can buy farms in the Philippines & Live Off Grid

Hello World! Welcome to another episode of My Filipino Life, where we focus on Island Life, Happiness, and Activities.

Today we take a tour of our BackYard - also known as our Farm.

My wife is from the Jungles of Leyte and her family has been surviving on Organic Farming for generations. So she is the expert on successful growing of great vegetables, Fruit, nuts, and animals.

Why are We Farming like This?
We could buy from the local markets, but we do not know what we are getting. How was it grown? What kind of fertilizer/pesticide/herbicide? Was the land sanitary? Were the animals healthy or sick when taken to the market? The answer is, "I don't know." So we are doing it ourselves. For our health, for our daughter's health, and because we share our extra supply with our friends and neighbors (you'll see what my wife Rose calls this practice).
