This is an ugly, rough, but very functional first attempt at recreating the Sailor Naginata nibs. This is two jinhao medium steel nibs, stacked on top of each other and soldered together, ground to a combined architect nib with a cross in the middle. This gives us a thin downstroke and fat, wide, crisp 1.5-1.9mm cross stroke, with great ink flow since the nib has four slits!
I will be refining the design and trying some reverse and triple stacked designs, but I think I will be selling these in the future.
Pen used for the nib is a Conklin All American Old Glory
