The presenters in this webinar address distributed generation (DG) interconnection processes, and they discuss approaches for mitigating impacts of distributed energy resources (DERs). Specific topics they cover include handling of large volumes of interconnection requests, interconnection of high penetrations of DG, and regulatory approaches for developing DG interconnection policies. The presenters include representatives of U.S. utilities and public utility commissions and Latin American energy ministries that have extensive experience with DG interconnection.
