The journey begins!
In this first episode of my motorcycle adventure to the Picos de Europa, I leave Switzerland behind and cross into France, riding over high Alpine passes and descending into lush countryside. It’s a day of contrasts — snow-covered peaks, warm valleys, and the quiet excitement of setting off alone on a long journey.
I’m riding my BMW F850 GS and following parts of the old Camino de Santiago route, heading west across France to meet a group in Spain.
