25 Minute Bike Ride (3.8 miles) in The Woodlands, TX U.S.A. – Grogan’s Mill Village. The ride starts at Riva Row Boat House on the Woodlands Waterway. We ride west bound from the Turning Basin (East) towards the Turning Basin (West). This ride is divided into two parts. Part One just returns us to where we started (2.5 miles). Part two continues east bound past the Turning Basin (east) towards Lake Woodlands and follows along a branch of Lake Woodlands that connects the Riva Row Boat House and the Lake. The boathouse rents kayaks and you can access Lake Woodlands the same way this ride follows. Part 2 is a 1.3 mile round trip. The total distance for Parts 1 & 2 is 3.8 miles and takes about 25 minutes – riding speed between 8 and 9 mph. I plan to explore more of the Bike Trails in The Woodlands and then post them along with locations.
