Nevis Swing in Queenstown New Zealand -- Freaked Out!

I will never look at a swing the same way ever again.
My husband successfully convinced me to try the Nevis Swing in Queenstown, New Zealand. Suspended at 134 meters or 439 feet or 41 stories above the valley floor, it is the largest swing on earth! The Nevis swings on a 300 meter arc at speeds of 120 kph.
It's quite intimidating and it sure freaked me out (as demonstrated in the video!) but the worst part lasted only a few seconds -- perhaps 5 to 6..? Once the swing breaks the free fall it's much more pleasant and enjoyable.
I think it's a lot easier than a bungy as at the very least you swing seated (unless you're one of them daredevils who wants to swing head first) and you can "try and trust the equipment" before you free fall. Being that it swings, it also doesn't stress any part of your body (I heard the bungy can be stressful on your ankles and/or knees). My husband also noted a major difference -- with bungy you are in control of your own jump, which is counterintuitive (after all who thinks jumping off is normal..?) but with the swing someone else decides when you fall -- so you really have no time to back out. It's a good thing, believe me!
I hope you enjoyed the video! I still get sweaty palms every time I watch it no matter how many times I have -- and my palms never get sweaty! I know there are crazier stuff out there like SkyDive Dubai (%#!*&@!) but this is the first time I ever did anything like it, considering I can't even get on an escalator without holding onto the rail. I'm not the bravest -- but I did it! I did it! I did it! And I'm very glad I did!
