Pink Floyd - The Wall (The Orchestral Experience)

Well.. it definitely took a while to do this, the first song finished was "Hey You" back in September of 2022, so it has been quite some time.
After I finished that piece, I had a feeling I really needed to do the whole album, which has seldom been done in complete order. There are quite a few actual live performances of some of The Wall, but they usually only showcase excerpts or the top radio hits. I decided I wanted to take on the whole thing.
For those who are really into it, I included some extra material brought over from the movie, particularly "Empty Spaces/What Shall We Do Now" (which is one of my favorites).

My intention was to create a realization of a complete orchestrated album to life, this is not a real live performance, one day it may be possible, but that is not today so we are left with many of these being created within DAW's and Sibelius Noteperformer.
You will notice I did add a few soundbytes from the movie, these were seen as inevitably unavoidable. The baby crying in Mother, the door creaking sound moving into The Trial. These do not break the non-vocalization objective but I feel brings more life into this.

I also want to note how hard it was to make sure the stuka siren apparent in the end of 'In The Flesh' sounded somewhat good. I hope you like what I achieved here with acoustical instrumentation all in playable ranges.

As it stands right now, it is ready for engraving and live performance, some day there might be a group willing to take this challenge on. I just hope you kick back, relax, and have a listen to this interpretation of Pink Floyd's - The Wall
