Storyline: 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 or....
Ben and Hope cross path in New Orlean at a underground Blood Rave. But before that both (separately / same goal) were bringing down every Triad facilities (erase their history and their existence). Ben comes across Hope's files and burns them as a favour to all supernatural being recorded by Triad.

Since they met in a Blood Rave and it was during Hope "no humanity" era... they've done a lot of damage together. It's triggering for Hope as he now goes to Salvatore Boarding School. There are times when she can bare his presence but there are time when she's done with him. Ben is hiding a few secrets of his own. Through Hope he learns about the Salvatore School and decides to enrol after Hope. It was a "happy coincidence" to see her there too.
