Cisco Umbrella's Cloud Security Evolution

Umbrella serves as the established cloud-native, multifaceted security solution pivotal to Cisco's SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) architecture. This presentation focuses on the evolutionary journey of Umbrella's functionalities, illustrating its convergence of DNS-layer security, SWG (Secure Web Gateway), firewall, CASB (Cloud Access Security Broker), and threat intelligence into a single cloud service to help secure your network. Furthermore, we will briefly explore Umbrella's transition into Cisco's unified SSE (Security Service Edge) offering. Attendees will also be encouraged to explore Secure Access, a cloud security platform that combines Umbrella's SIG (Secure Internet Gateway) capabilities with zero trust architecture.
