Bartow, GA...is there anyone left here? With a declining population now sitting at 156 people, this town has seen better days. After the droughts in the 1930's and The Great Depression, Bartow began to lose its population at a height of 700 and has continued to decline to this day. Once having a hotel, indoor skating rink, several department stores, concerts halls, and even an electric power plant, are now a thing of the past. Nowadays amenities are non existent, jobs are scarce, and poverty / crime is higher than average. I will say this place in many areas even though its dilapidated from the years of ruins, is actually well kept for what it is, and some of it has historic value. Let's take a drive and check out some of the worst, abandoned, and historic parts of Bartow, Georgia.
