I’ve been using the same vocal mic for 15 years (the Sennheiser e835) and I love it, but I wanted to see what else was out there in the $1-200 price range. I also had a SM58 in my collection as well as a Samson Q7. I recently bought a Sennheiser e945, a Blue enCore 200, and a Beyerdynamic TGV70 to test. All sounds you hear are Raw and Unequalized. Volumes were quickly level matched in Logic Pro X for the purpose of this test to see how the vocal quality differs from mic to mic. Hopefully you find this helpful for your singing needs.
