In 2022, I found myself back in the same hospice hospital where my mother had passed away eight years earlier. This time, it was my sister.

On the end table sat a People magazine and a Gideon Bible — one full of fluff, one full of faith. But where was the third option? Something human. Something real. Something for those who don’t need answers — they just want to feel a little less alone.

That moment inspired me to write The Little Book of Grief, Grace, and Gratitude — not as a product, but as a presence. A companion for anyone walking through loss, searching for grace, and holding on to gratitude.
