The "Sound Ideas" series explores original compositions for the guitar.
My flamenco journey began in Madrid, renting a room and living with a family. It was there that I had my first exposure to the flamenco palo, "bulerías", and it's importance and status in the world of flamenco. I wrote this buleria (this is the opening section) in 2003 and dedicate it to the family who invited me in an shared their home with me. Ana, Salo, Ritchie, Javier, un abrazo!
