Gtechniq L1 Leather Guard on Old Mercedes Leather

After freshening up the leather in my Mercedes-Benz W210 and W124 I wanted something that would add a layer of protection and wanted to try out the Gtechniq L1 Leather Guard. This is a coating that will form a layer that is claimed to be abrasion, UV, and dye transfer resistant. The application process is super simple and all you need is a foam applicator pad and a microfiber towel. The leather should be cleaned before applying. I was happy with how it applied to the leather since it is imperceivable visually and it leaves the leather feeling smoother than before. Gtechniq says an application should last between 3-12 months. I think this is one of the best ways to preserve the leather in any car especially the AMG napa leather in my w210.
