Alton Water Park

Alton Water Park is big...really big!

This video only shows a fraction of the reservoir, the park itself is over 400 acres and as you will see is a lovely lush place with mature trees fringing the water's edge.

The reservoir is the biggest in Suffolk, with construction, starting in the mid-1970s being completed in 1987.

My trip was again, an impromptu one and it was very hasty filming (no more than 45 minutes).

Although a nice sunset I was struggled to find interesting shots, was plagued by technical issues (gimble drop & disconnects), and just could not find the right ND filter to use, I stayed with ND 8 in the end.

Also, I was hoping to see a few more birds but arrived a little late to catch the full effect of the sunset, which was a shame.

I may return at some point, maybe during the Autumn to have another go as the trees turn.

The edit took an absolute age, because of the minimal amount of footage I had to work with but I hope you like what you see.
