EC10 Project Employment Contracts

Project employment contracts are agreements where an employee is hired for a specific project or undertaking, the completion of which marks the end of the employment relationship. Common in industries like construction or IT, these contracts must clearly define the scope and duration of the project at the time of hiring. Project employees are not considered regular unless they are repeatedly rehired for similar work. While engaged, they are entitled to basic labor rights such as minimum wage and social security benefits. This contract type allows employers to adjust their workforce based on project demands while still complying with labor laws.
