If you're moving to Las Vegas and researching where to live, you've probably come across Green Valley in Henderson, NV. Join us as we do a community and driving tour of this popular Henerson neighborhood.

Green Valley South has everything from entry-level homes to luxury guard-gated, golf-course properties.

Because Green Valley South was built in the '80s and '90s, these homes tend to be on larger lots than newer Las Vegas neighborhoods. Trees have had time to mature, and many properties still have grass.

As with all of Henderson, residents of Green Valley South are never far from a public park or walking trail. Amenities at these parks include sports fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, playgrounds, grills, splash pads and more.

Green Valley South is more residential than it's neighbor Green Valley North. However, there are plenty of shops and restaurants in the area. In addition, the popular Green Valley Ranch Casino and The District shopping center are only a few minutes away.

While the neighborhood is very quiet, one of its best aspects is its convenience to the 215 expressway. The Las Vegas Strip is only a 12-minute drive away and McCarren Internation Airport an 11-minute drive.

The median sales price for homes in this Henderson neighborhood are about 6% higher than the rest of Las Vegas.

This area is zoned for some of Clark County's top schools. Different school zones cut through Green Valley South. High schoolers attend either Green Valley High School, Coronado High School, or Silverado High School.
