Xiaoxitian is located on Fenghuang (Phoenix) Mountain, 1 km northwest of Xi County, Linfen City, Shanxi Province. It is a Buddhist temple originally called Qianfo Temple (Thousand-Buddha Temple). The temple is divided into upper- and lower-level courtyards. Attractions include Grand Hall, Weituo Hall, and some interesting side rooms on the left and right. Within the two courtyards are many colorful and vivid statues. These are all fine examples of excellent Ming Dynasty artworks, forming a true treasure of Ming Dynasty color statues.
