Tropo FM DX with telescopic (2024) (featuring Ireland at 600km)

Massive tropo 25th - 26th December 2024. All this was received with a telescopic aerial. Here, near Brighton, I picked lots from France, England and Wales with an extreme 600+km record to Southwest Ireland. West Wales was also very hard with the path going through the Brecon Beacon Mountains.
QTH: Hassocks, Brighton, West Sussex, England (UK)
My house is in a valley at 42 m ASL. The South Downs hills block everything to the south and Lodge Hill in Ditchling blocks everything to the east. I do however, have a clear unobstructed view to the north with the flat terrain of mid Sussex.
RX: TEF 6686 portable connected to XDR GTK software, with the audio fed through an aux cable into my laptop and screen recorder. This caused some QRM which is audible and not ideal.
Antenna: Single telescopic arial about 50 cm long. No external antennas. No multi-element antennas. All recordings were made indoors on the first floor. It was Chrismas day, after all.
