本日のピアノカバー曲は、岡村孝子さんの「夢をあきらめないで」です。
2025年は昭和100年ということもあり、4年前の8月にもこの曲を投稿したことがありましたが、昭和62年発表の明るく元気をいただけるこの曲を久しぶりに弾いてみたいと思いました🎹
年齢に関係なく、どんなに小さな夢でも、誰もが夢のもてる平和な社会になることを願いながら弾きました🎹🌹

💝「夢をあきらめないで」（ゆめをあきらめないで）は、岡村孝子の通算5枚目のシングル。1987年2月4日発売。
2005年7月2日公開の映画『逆境ナイン』の主題歌に使用された

💝1987年、「夢をあきらめないで」応援歌的な内容が幅広い層から支持を集め、岡村の代表作となった。当初は武蔵高等予備校のCMソングのタイアップがあった。 後年、中学校の音楽教科書「中学音楽 音楽のおくりもの 2・3 上」（教育出版刊）に採用されている。
2005年公開の映画『逆境ナイン』の主題歌（原作者・監督の強いリクエスト）として起用された。リリースから18年たった2005年、デジタルリマスタリングを施し「夢をあきらめないで 『逆境ナイン』リマスタリング・バージョン」として再発売。当曲は、乙葉、金月真美など様々な歌手によりカバーされる。多くのCMにも起用されている

Today's piano cover is "Don't Give Up on Your Dreams" by Takako Okamura.
2025 marks the 100th anniversary of the Showa era, and while I posted this song four years ago in August, I wanted to revisit this upbeat, uplifting song, released in 1987. 🎹
I played it with the hope of a peaceful society where everyone can dream, no matter how small, regardless of age. 🎹🌹

💝 "Don't Give Up on Your Dreams" (Yume wo Akiramenaide) is Takako Okamura's fifth single. Released on February 4, 1987.

It was used as the theme song for the film "Gyakkyo Nine," released on July 2, 2005.

💝 In 1987, "Don't Give Up on Your Dreams" gained widespread support for its cheery lyrics, becoming Okamura's signature work. It was originally used as a commercial song for Musashino High School Preparatory School. Later, the song was included in the junior high school music textbook "Junior High School Music: The Gift of Music, Volumes 2 and 3, Vol. 1" (published by Kyoiku Shuppan).

It was chosen as the theme song for the 2005 film "Gyakkyo Nine" (at the strong request of the original author and director). In 2005, 18 years after its release, it was digitally remastered and re-released as "Don't Give Up on Your Dreams: Gyakkyo Nine Remastered Version." The song has been covered by various singers, including Otoha and Kanetsuki Mami. It has also been used in numerous commercials.

Takako Okamura's lyrics and music, which capture the sensibilities of her generation, many of whom are office ladies, garnered support, particularly from young women, and she was dubbed the "guru of office" ladies" in the early 1990s. From Wikipedia
