Mozart’s Echo is part of my Poor Genius project — a tribute to extraordinary creators whose art outlived their fame.
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart inspired this project more than anyone else.
For me, he is the greatest example of a genius who died poor and largely forgotten, despite changing music forever.
This lyric video tells the story of:
• A child prodigy celebrated by kings
• An artist who played for joy, pain, love, and need
• A man buried without honour, yet echoed endlessly through time
Mozart did not compose for legacy - he composed because he had to.
The world moved on, but the echoes stayed.
Poor Genius is about that echo.
About artists who gave everything, received little, and still shaped humanity.
