Our Brave Boy - Getting Blood Drawn May 22, 2020

Hello Friends,

JJ has always been afraid of shots or anything involving a needle. He would fight, scream and cry as we would hold him down for a shot. On this day he did not fuss like he usually does. it was a little difficult in the beginning, but he realized that it didn't hurt like he thought it would. He was very brave and did extremely well. I was probably more nervous than he was and was prepaired for the worst,
He will most likely behave even better the next time he needs a shot or gets blood drawn.
We just received the results from his blood test, so we will contact the neuroiogist on Monday to find out what it all means for JJ.
We also got a note from Preferred Home Care that his upgraded stroller/wheelchair has been approved. Yeah!!!
