There is no air, but there is no need to breathe; there are no sounds, only the hum of silence that penetrates directly into consciousness, and there is no time, only the endless *now*, which presses with its alien mass, dissolving the last remnants of individuality. Every touch to it is not a physical sensation, but the dissolution of one's own essence, the realization of oneself as a grain of sand in an ocean of incomprehensible antiquity and monstrous greatness, from which remains only the inexplicable knowledge that existence is much broader and more terrible than any earthly concepts.
