He dropped 90lb FIGHTING for His LIFE… We FOUGHT His Yard

A few days ago, the editor and I jumped in the car and went hunting for the wildest, most overgrown lawns in our area. This yard looked like a pretty simple clean-up... yeah, how wrong we were.

After knocking on the door, we met the resident — and instantly knew this was going to be more than just a mow. He had just come out of hospital after a brutal battle with sepsis. In just 3 weeks, he’d dropped from 100kg down to 60kg (221lb down to 90lb). It broke him — physically, mentally, and financially.

There was no way we were leaving without helping. So, we told him straight up — this one's completely free.

We wanted to give him (and his yard) a fresh start — something to help him on the road to recovery and hopefully lift a bit of weight off his shoulders.

We also couldn’t ignore the council’s classic slash and dash job on the footpath. It looked terrible and was unsafe — so we fixed that too.
