Today, it moves through debt, data, and algorithms.

From neocolonial debt traps and the extraction of green energy minerals, to technocolonialism where human data and underpaid labor fuel AI systems built elsewhere, the patterns are disturbingly familiar. What changes is not the logic of domination, but its tools.

In coaching, we are trained to listen beneath the surface. And what we hear today is a deeper question: Who benefits from progress, and who pays the hidden cost?
