एक समलम्ब चतुर्भुज का क्षेत्रफल ज्ञात कीजिए जिसकी समान्तर भुजाएँ 77 सेमी, 60 सेमी तथा अन्य दो भुजाएँ 25 सेमी और 26 सेमी हैं।
15) If each side of a triangle is doubled, then find the ratio of area of the new triangle thus formed and the given triangle. Also find the percentage increase in area.
यदि किसी त्रिभुज की प्रत्येक भुजा को दोगुना कर दिया जाए, तो इस प्रकार बने नए त्रिभुज के क्षेत्रफल और दिए गए त्रिभुज के क्षेत्रफल का अनुपात ज्ञात कीजिए। क्षेत्रफल में प्रतिशत वृद्धि भी ज्ञात कीजिए।
16) A triangular park in a city has lengths of sides as 100cm, 90cm and 110cm. A contract is given to a company for planting grass in the park at the rate of ₹ 4000 per hectare. Find the amount to be paid to the company. ( √2 = 1.414 )
एक शहर में एक त्रिभुजाकार पार्क की भुजाओं की लंबाई क्रमशः 100 सेमी, 90 सेमी और 110 सेमी है। पार्क में घास लगाने के लिए एक कंपनी को ₹4000 प्रति हेक्टेयर की दर से ठेका दिया जाता है। कंपनी को दी जाने वाली राशि ज्ञात कीजिए। (√2 = 1.414)
17) A piece of land is in the shape of a trapezium whose parallel sides are 50m and 35m. The non-parallel sides are 30m and 35m. Prove that the area of the land is

एक ज़मीन का टुकड़ा समलम्ब चतुर्भुज के आकार का है जिसकी समांतर भुजाएँ 50 मीटर और 35 मीटर हैं। असमांतर भुजाएँ 30 मीटर और 35 मीटर हैं। सिद्ध कीजिए कि ज़मीन का क्षेत्रफल 𝟏𝟕𝟎𝟎/𝟑 √𝟑 𝒎^𝟐 है।
