Ras al Jinz Turtle Reserve - one of the best nature experiences when in OMAN

🌎💚😍 Ras Al Jinz is one of the best nature experiences to enjoy in the Sultanate of Oman. Every year, thousands of sea turtles migrate from the shores of the Arabian Gulf and the Red Sea to lay their eggs on Oman’s beaches. Reserves have been set up to protect them. They offer opportunities to see them come to shore in the evening and leave their nest in the morning. It's amazing to see them how they dig resiliently for hours and then slide slowly back to the water. The sea turtle peak nesting season (and hatching) is between May and September, especially July to September

🌎💚😍 Rezervatia Ras Al Jinz este una dintre cele mai interesante si spectaculoase experiente in natura din Sultanatul Oman. An de an, mii de broaste testoase marine din diverse specii vin din largul Golfului Persic sau din Marea Rosie si isi depun ouale aici, pe plajele din Oman. 45 de kilometri de pe coasta estică a ţării au fost transformaţi în rezervaţie naturală, tocmai pentru a le proteja. Aceste zone protejate si monitorizate de biologi ofera posibilitatea celor interesati sa fie martori ai acestui moment magic. Am văzut astfel cum aceste testoase marine îşi aleg locul pentru cuib, ce tehnică de săpat folosesc, am fost martori la momentul în care depun ouăle, am urmărit cum astupă cuibul şi am aflat cum îşi derutează potenţialii duşmani.
