The name of the album "Songs of Wishes and Bones" holds significance as to showing how contrast and duality inspires the band. The plays on contrasts become more perceptible as you listen to the songs, which indeed speak of life and death, nature and artifice, past and present, and light and darkness. These narratives are seen through the keen eye of vocalist and lyricist Victoria Suter and complemented by the electronic sorcery of her musical partner, Mathieu Daubigné.
