In this video, I’m sharing a deeper look into my art series What We Carry — a body of work rooted in symbolism, transformation, and lineage.
The moths in these paintings represent transformation in the dark — the way we navigate unknown paths by trusting the light of our intuition. The oranges symbolize family lineage, ancestry, and the gifts (and burdens) passed down through generations. Together, they ask important questions:
🌱 What cycles are we here to break?
🌱 What wisdom and gifts should we nurture and carry forward?
🌱 How do we honor where we came from, while creating new patterns for the future?
