next stop: 張家界 (zhangjiajie) national park!! we spent a total of four days in the area. the first day was spent exploring the upper half of the park (yuanjiajie, yangjiajie, tianzi mountain). we explored the lower half of the park the second day (huangshi village, golden whip stream). for the third day, we ventured outside of the city and visited baofeng lake and furong ancient town. and lastly, we stopped by tianmen mountain on our last day before heading to chongqing.
