On our visit to Medicine Park, we were lucky enough to see the Comanche Nation Parade. Indian / Native American culture has always intrigued us which made this parade extra special to us. This video provides some highlights of the parade as well as basic knowledge found from various sources noted in the video. Lawton, Oklahoma is rich with Indian history (the tribes that live around Lawton have explicitly said they prefer the word Indian over Native American / Indigenous Peoples). Visit the Comanche National Musem in Lawton and the Native American Museum on Fort Sill located in Lawton, OK as well.
