Pattern recognition is a key aspect of image processing, enabling computers to identify and classify objects, shapes, or features within images. By analyzing patterns such as edges, textures, or colors, this technology powers applications like object detection.
In In-Sight Vision Suite you need to first train models on a known pattern and then detect similar patterns in new images.
Good to know:
The outcome of the "FindPatMaxRedLine" function gives you the orientation of the pattern within the image (X, Y, Angle).
These values (X, Y, Angle) can be used for other functions to get relative positions or define relative regions of interest (ROI). This is also called Fixtures.
