Anatomy & Physiology: Action Potentials & Axonal Transmission

This episode explains the concept of action potentials in axonal transmission. Sodium ions cause excitation in a cell body, increasing voltage until crossing the action potential threshold. When the potential is breached, the cell sends a neurotransmitter to the axon terminal to be released.
