I'm back with the Type B Diaphone!
I finally managed to meet the Alpena at the mouth of the Fox River in Green Bay.
The Grassy Island Range Lights were built in 1872 on a small island approaching the mouth of the Fox River in Green Bay. When the channel was widened in the 1960s, the lighthouses were not needed and slated for demolition.
The Green Bay Yacht Club acquired the two towers in 1966 and in recent years have completely restored them. The lenses are replica 6th Order lenses made by Artworks Florida.
