To head out into the canyons in Malibu, I'm driving the very Porsche 992 Turbo S that you could be winning with Omaze, finished in GT Silver over Truffle Brown leather, and well equipped with technology. Powered by the 3.8l twin turbo flat-6 it's making 650hp and thanks to the lightning fast 8 speed PDK gearbox and 4 wheel drive, the ability this car has to fly both off the line and along any piece of tarmac is moderately incredible.

Having first driven the 992 Turbo S on the German Autobahn when it launched, it's time for something quite different for this run on some twisty mountain roads to the north of Los Angeles. The latest generation of the Turbo S has been received with great acclaim for good reason as it's an exceptional car across the board - which is perhaps one of the downsides in that it does everything too well, that some emotion is lost along the way. Arguably, exactly the point of the car in the first place!

For me though, the next Porsche I'd add to my garage to join my Taycan Turbo S is not to be a Turbo S, but hopefully and with all fingers crossed, the new 981 Cayman GT4 RS when it's launched! During the drive in the Turbo S I shall explain all and why the GT4 RS is my choice and best fit for the Shmeemobiles.
