Student Loan Repayment: What You Need to Know

The Supreme Court has blocked President Biden's one-time $10k and $20k Forgiveness plan. The ruling would not have changed the fact that student loan payments will resume on October 1, 2023, as announced earlier by the Department of Education. As of September 1, 2023, the interest on federal student loan debt will begin accruing for millions of borrowers who are currently in deferment.

If you have Federal student loans, it's important to take action now to prepare for repayment. My Education Solutions (MES) can help you submit your Employment Certification Forms (ECFs) for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) and make sure you're on track to get the full benefit of this program.

To ensure that our Clients receive credit towards their 10-Year Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF), MES is urging them to submit their outstanding Employment Certification Forms (ECF) for any months in which they worked for a qualified employer as soon as possible. This will help us process their applications before Student Loan payments become mandatory again in just a few months.
