A peaceful gathering took place outside Gloucestershire County Council’s Shire Hall offices on Westgate Street, Gloucester, on the morning of the 3rd of November 2025.
Pairs of shoes were placed on the steps — each pair representing a child with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) who has been failed by the system.
The display served as a visual message of awareness and remembrance, highlighting the ongoing challenges faced by families and children with SEND across the UK.
