Trackmaster Donald 2013 version unboxing review and first run.

Hi Guys and Gals here we have the all new 2013 Trackmaster Donald, I bought it from Target in Australia at the massive toy sale and I got it for $19. I was very surprised to see it in stores here before i even saw it on ebay!

All the comments i made in the description for 2012 Douglas apply here so i will keep this description rather short.

Its identical to the 2012 trackmaster Douglas in every way except the numbering and it is stamped Donald underneath the locomotive so there is no chance of getting them mixed up, The engine has the flat type drive unit and is like all the 2012 2013 engines i have reviewed it has the springy negative terminal and this one is extremely quiet (although it did get slightly louder later in the video).

It looks quite good but the eyes are a bit overdone it seems with its massive pupils it looks a bit silly and nothing like in the show. The stickers were all straight and i didn't feel there was any danger of them coming off in my hands as someone had happen to them with 2012 Douglas. The tender wheels and axles are a one piece of plastic and we are yet to see how well these wear with a lot of continuous use as they are still quite new.

I have no complaints about it and it does look fantastic running with his twin Douglas who was slightly faster but over time they should both be the same in speed as Donalds drive unit runs in more.
