This is my special edition segment that I am releasing because it is a long holiday weekend (Columbus Day weekend) Please sit back and watch this segment where we are going to do something a little different this time. Lets fish with these little crappie scented balls to find out if in fact they work. I am also testing my vertical jigging skills with my 10ft Yaannk Stiks at the same time. We know that the big crappie will start moving up as soon as the water temperature drops into the low 60's. So what do we do till the big crappie move up? Very simply sharpen our skills and practice on the these little rascals that are suspended on this 80ft poplar tree that fell about 3 years ago. Let me mention guys that I am not a pro at vertical jigging...If I can do this o can you. Please notice that one of the mail reasons why I am having such luck is because I down sized my entire outfit to a 1.5" stinger and a 1/32 #4 sized hook and drag the crappie all day.
