Combining vintage DNA with a modern twist, the new Air Jordan 7 RM was unveiled today in BRED colourway.


Although the sole unit and forefoot shape of the original AJ7 are still present, almost every other aspect of the shoe has been modified. While breathable mesh panelling now predominates in the midfoot, the classic high-top design is replaced with a low-cut collar.


An interior that is more streamlined has taken the place of the snug neoprene inner bootie. Support and structure are provided by a firm rubber heel wrap, which gives the shoe a decidedly contemporary appearance.


The change is obvious, and anticipation is now great due to the Air Jordan 4 RM's surprising success.

It will take time to see if this revamp is well received by customers, though, as the Air Jordan 7 has never had the same level of popularity as its siblings.


This autumn, the Air Jordan 7 RM is anticipated to launch retailly on Nike.com.
