Hera: Queen of the Gods - Greek Goddess of marriage, women and childbirth - Wife of Zeus

Hera, is the queen of all Gods being the wife of Zeus. She was the goddess of marriage, women and childbirth but the ironic fact is that he is the reason behind the suffering of many women. Despite being married with Hera, Zeus cheated on her on countless accounts with other goddess and mortal women like Leto, Leda, Alcmene, Europa and many more thus the anger of Hera towards the women. These affairs resulted in the birth of many gods and demi-gods and these children are the one most hated to Hera.

But Hera and Zeus had their own children too like the Ares, Eris, and Hephaestus. Hephaestus shows the flaws of Hera that displays her jealousy and incomitance. As Zeus fathered Athena by himself Hera also had to show that she can do the same by giving birth to a son. Unfortunately this single birth resulted in an imperfect child far from the looks and beauty of Athena. Thus the child was secretly thrown off of Olympus by hera to hide her failures. Although she is portrayed as a jealous woman, she is highly respected by all gods being the wife of Zeus and Queen of Olympus. She has vital role in the Greek Mythos being a part of most story for Zeus, the battle against Titans, the battle against giants, the Trojan war and more.
