【長野・ビーナスライン】「頭文字D」みたいな天空ドライブ 茅野市街地から美ヶ原高原まで75キロの観光山岳道路 Venus Line: This is REAL "Initial D"!

今回は、奈良井宿への旅行のついでに、長野県のビーナスラインを車で走りました。
ビーナスラインは茅野市街と美ヶ原高原を結ぶ観光山岳道路。全長は７５キロほどで、止まらないで走行した場合の所要時間は９０分。実はそんなに期待していなかったのですが、南アルプスや白樺湖などの景色が美しく、走りごたえのあるワインディングロードの連続でかなり楽しめました。特に美ヶ原高原から麓に下る坂道は、ドリフト走行を競う若者たちを描いた漫画「頭文字D」（イニシャルD）に出てきそうなダウンヒルで面白かったです。
松本市にある有名なカレー店「メーヤウ桐店」の様子も収録しています。

This time, while traveling to Narai-juku, I also drove along Venus Line in Nagano Prefecture.
Venus Line is a scenic mountain road connecting Chino City and Utsukushigahara Highlands. It’s about 75 km long and takes around 90 minutes to drive nonstop. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much, but the views of the Southern Alps, Shirakaba Lake, and other sights were stunning, and the continuous winding roads made for a really enjoyable drive. Particularly fun was the downhill stretch from Utsukushigahara Highlands—it felt like something straight out of "Initial D", the manga about young drift racers competing on mountain passes.
I also included footage of the famous curry restaurant Mayau Kiriten in Matsumoto City.
