Les Votives - Monster (Inedito Live) | X FACTOR 2024 LIVE 5

Monster è la metafora di un litigio, racconta di un incontro acceso tra due ragazzi, dopo che il protagonista si rende conto di aver trascurato troppo l’altra persona per i problemi che gli frullano nella testa.
Racconta l’emozione che si scaturisce quando prevale un brivido di adrenalina nelle vene, ma in una maniera negativa, quasi inquietante: sono un mostro perché mi sento posseduto dal veleno di questo litigio.

La musica conferisce il senso di angoscia, è irrequieta, l’accelerazione rappresenta la foga della discussione che perde il controllo e la lucidità, per questo la componente ritmica non si interrompe mai.

Nel pre-ritornello viene posta una domanda, i Les Votives si chiedono come possano risolvere questa situazione: “ma io non mi posso fermare, sono un mostro ormai”.
La conclusione è la chiusura del cerchio: entrambi ormai sono dominati da questa forza irrazionale e mostruosa.
