Merrik by Anne Rice (Yea, still not great)

Hey everyone!

I am so mad at myself about the stupid name switch! I like David Talbot too, maybe not so much in this story, but he's a great addition to the Vampire Chronicles. (Merrik herself not so much).

But yes, Merrik by Anne Rice is a compelling, and self contained, story in several places. If you're into the ghost aspects of these books, the more mystical side, this probably won't disappoint. Just keep the ... awkward "romance" in mind.
