True rivals or just mortal enemies? Definitely not rivals in the ordinary way, as Mega Man and Bass would be more appropriate rivals. But from a musical and a historical perspective, Wily has just been there since the beginning, similar to Eggman vs Sonic from the previous VG Arch Rivals. VERY similar in fact...

Also, while I usually put the protagonist on the right side in these videos, I kinda messed up here...unless...
