The word „mycorrhiza“ refers to the symbiosis of the roots of many plants with various fungi. This symbiosis occurs almost ubiquitously in our environment and facilitates plant life under stressful conditions. This video shows how the partners of the interaction are recognizing each other, which structures they are forming for exchanging nutrients and which plants are colonized by which group of fungi.
