"Sure Shot" notes:
-0:52 - 1:13, 3:02 - 3:09, 3:22 - 3:43 - pedal hats fill in the 8th rests here and there
-2:51 - cymbal 'harmonics'
"Fable" notes:
-A sections (4:28 - 4:48, etc.) - the orchestrations here (choice of crash to ride, splash or 'stack', floor or rack toms) are influenced by the chord progression
-5:30, 7:50 - 3-8 orchestration (open hats, splash, open hats, splash) is maintained even throughout the snare fill-in
-5:35, 7:55 - kicks complement guitar run
-tail end of C sections (5:41, etc.) - switch to half notes on the larger crush to ramp up intensity
-6:37 - medium-soft'ish dynamics throughout; aberration at 6:50 to give it a jolt, reverting back to former dynamic level, then again at 7:03 to segue to the next section
-6:46, 7:00 - over-the-bar colorful cymbal(s) fill-in
-7:25 - 7:32 - 4 feel superimposed over the 5
