CAGLIARI LA CITTA' DEI FENICOTTERI

A Cagliari nel 1993 i Fenicotteri hanno dato vita ad uno spettacolo unico al mondo e Davide Mocci ha documentato l'evento. Quasi trent'anni dopo il documentarista ha realizzato questo nuovo documentario in tre anni di riprese, con tecnologie e strumenti moderni, che hanno permesso riprese eccezionali e un racconto che riassume tutta l’esperienza che il regista ha maturato in tanti di studio su questa specie in molti luoghi del pianeta.
In questo documentario Davide Mocci racconta un aspetto della città di Cagliari, un’antica città della Sardegna, una terra adagiata proprio nel mezzo fra l’Europa e l’Africa.
Questo doc, unico nel suo genere, ci porta a conoscere la vita dei Fenicotteri che
da alcuni decenni hanno scelto la Sardegna e in particolare gli stagni del Cagliaritano per riprodursi.
L’eccezionalità dell’evento è data dal fatto che tutto questo avviene all’interno di una città, “la città dei fenicotteri”.
Il filmato mostra la città di Cagliari incastonata tra mare, saline e stagno, un meraviglioso complesso ambientale, con caratteristiche davvero speciali, ma soprattutto racconta la vita dei Fenicotteri rosa, dalla nascita fino all’involo.
Il documentario contiene anche dei veri e propri scoop, tra questi uno in particolare legato ai cambiamenti climatici, dove migliaia di Fenicotteri, per la prima volta, vedono le loro uova strappate via dai nidi da un imponente nubifragio.
